Elegant Ivers & Pond Upright Piano in the Greek Revival Style
This elegant piano was manufactured by The Ivers & Pond Piano Company in 1914. Ivers & Pond was one of Boston’s largest and most successful piano manufacturers. Their pianos were known to be of superior quality and craftsmanship. Because of their quality and reputation, Ivers & Pond was one of the few brand names to survive The Great Depression and two world wars.
The piano is made of imported Honduran Mahogany wood under the old dark finish and is of the Greek Revival style. This instrument is a large, full-size upright grand with the sound quality of a full grand piano. These large, full-size upright grand pianos are incredible instruments.
This piano is being completely restored, inside and out, with a historical perspective in mind. If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device. Thousands of song titles are available.
