DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to other clients, and it also makes that piano’s restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

The Ivers & Pond Piano Company was among the finest piano manufacturers to emerge from Boston’s rich musical heritage. William H. Ivers began crafting pianos under his own name around 1872, later joining forces with Handel Pond in 1880 to establish the renowned “Ivers & Pond Piano Company.” Instruments built prior to their partnership were labeled simply “Ivers.”

This piano is constructed from exquisite imported Honduran Mahogany and features the refined elegance of the Colonial style. It is being meticulously restored to perfection, both inside and out, with great care taken to preserve its historical integrity. The result will be a distinguished instrument with a rich, resonant tone capable of satisfying even the most discerning musician.

For those who desire modern convenience, this piano can also be fitted with a Pianomation player system, allowing it to play itself via live music streaming from any smart device, with access to thousands of song titles.

A matching piano bench is included.
