Description
Established in 1863, Henry F. Miller built some of the most expensive, well made pianos in Bostons history. The firm won highest awards for quality for over 100 years, a real testament to their quality. (Note – The Henry F. Miller name is still being built today in Asian import pianos).
This piano is one of Henry F. Millers more popular Parlor Grand styles from the 19th Century, and is made of stunning hand-rubbed Honduras Mahogany wood. This piano is unusual because measures under 6 feet in length – very rare for a Victorian piano – as most were well over 6 feet long. This piano would be ideal for someone with Victorian decor and limited space. Note the amazing hand-carved cabinet and solid construction. This kind of craftsmanship would never be found in a new piano today! This piano has been restored to like new condition inside and out, and can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired. A matching bench is included.
