Description
We are thrilled to present another truly “impossible to find” Craftsman-style piano from our collection! Built in 1908 by Heintzman & Company of Toronto, this extraordinary instrument represents the height of the Arts & Crafts furniture movement. Heintzman identified this design as the “Library Dutch Model in Flemish Oak” — a striking example of period craftsmanship. The case is adorned with beautifully executed solid copper hardware and intricate metalwork throughout, and remarkably, the original matching bench has survived alongside the instrument. While we have long known that Heintzman offered this model, this is the only surviving example we have encountered in more than 30 years in business.
The piano will be completely restored, both inside and out, with strict attention to historical accuracy. As a full-size “upright grand,” it will deliver a commanding tone and depth of resonance that rivals the quality of most full-size grand pianos—combining power with warmth and clarity.
For those who wish to enjoy the best of both worlds, the instrument can also be equipped with the Pianomation player system. This feature allows the piano to perform automatically by streaming thousands of songs from any smart device, seamlessly blending early 20th-century artistry with modern technology.

We are proud to offer the serious enthusiast the option of adding an authentic period instrument for their Craftsman home
