Hardman, Peck & Company built a very limited number of square grand pianos during the late 19th Century. These pianos are very rare today and exceedingly well made.

DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to other clients, and it also makes that piano’s restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

This lovely piano was built by Hardman, Peck & Company circa 1885 during the height of the square grand piano’s popularity in America. Square grand pianos by Hardman, Peck & Company are very rare today, and their instruments were very well made. This piano is made of beautiful Brazilian Rosewood and is of the elegantly carved Rococo Victorian style. Note the beautifully carved moldings, legs & lyre. This piano would have been the most elaborate, expensive grade of square grand offered by the firm and it will be a stunning piece when restoration is complete. A matching stool is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
