Description
Grinnell Brothers “Pianola” Model Player Piano
This is a classic full-size player piano built by Grinnell Brothers of Detroit, Michigan. Instruments by Grinnell Brothers were known to be of very high quality and craftsmanship. Grinnell Brothers was one of the few American piano manufacturers to survive the Great Depression without being absorbed into a larger conglomerate. The original firm built pianos until the 1960s.
This piano is made of imported Honduran Mahogany wood under the old finish and is of the Colonial design. The instrument is a large, full-size “Upright Grand” with quite an impressive tone quality. While the piano was originally built to be pneumatically operated by manually pumping the foot pedals, it will be restored with the updated Pianomation player system which can stream over 10,000 songs from any smart device!
A matching antique piano bench is included.
