This rare Gothic style upright piano is one of the tallest upright piano models ever produced - (which means longer strings and bigger sound!) It was built by the prominent J & C Fischer piano company of New York in about 1891. J & C Fischer built high quality, expensive pianos from about 1840-1982, one of the few American piano manufacturers to survive well over a century. Note the amazingly intricate carvings and lattice cut out work. This was the highest grade and most expensive upright piano offered by The Fischer Piano Company. Pianos of this caliber are exceedingly rare due to their high cost when new. This piano will be restored to like new condition inside and out. The original matching stool is included. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
