Description
Very Rare Empire Revival Style Grand Piano by Conover Piano Company
The Conover Piano Company was known for building exceptionally well-made pianos. The Conover brand was the premium line offered by the famous Cable Piano Company of Chicago.
This lovely piano is a rare 6-foot Victorian parlor grand, handsomely carved in the Eastlake Victorian style. Most carved Victorian pianos were well over 6 feet long, so the smaller size of this instrument makes it desirable for those with limited space. The piano is made of stunning exotic-grain Honduran Mahogany wood which gives the instrument an overall formal and elegant appearance. Note the beautiful filigree music rack and elegantly carved legs and pedal lyre. This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out. The tone quality of a vintage Conover piano like this is sure to please the most discriminating pianist.
If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation computerized player system, allowing the piano to play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. This system has over 10,000 songs available in its music library! A matching piano stool is included.
