Description

This is a classic traditional style baby piano built by the famous Chickering & Sons Piano Company of Boston. One thing that makes this piano a bit amazing is that it was built and sold new in 1933 at the height of the Great Depression! With baby grand pianos like this selling new for several hundred dollars, only a wealthy few could afford such a luxury in 1933. Chickering built several different models of baby grand pianos in the early 20th Century, and they were known for their huge tone quality despite their small size. This piano has been beautifully finished in a hand-rubbed brown mahogany finish, and has an overall elegant and formal appearance.

This piano has been equipped with the Pianomation computerized player system, and it plays from CD or computer hard drive. A matching bench is included.
