Lavish quarter sawn oak Victorian style upright piano by the Beckwith Piano Company
Out of stock
This is a lovely late Victorian style Beckwith upright piano from the turn of the century era. Beckwith pianos were built by the famous Sears & Roebuck Company, and they were sold in their catalogs and larger retail stores. Beckwith pianos were of exceptional quality, and they are consistently some of the best pianos we see come through our shop.
This piano is made of beautiful golden quarter sawn oak and is of the carved Victorian style. Most ornately carved pianos from this era were made of dark mahogany or rosewood, but rarely of golden oak. The piano has been beautifully restored, inside and out, once again sounding as good as it did over a century ago! If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. More than 10,000 song titles are available!
