This is a beautiful Empire Revival style upright piano by the Beckwith Piano Company. Originally listed as the “Pompeiian” model, it features large columns and moldings influenced by the classical Roman/Greek style. The piano is made of beautiful quarter sawn oak wood under the old finish which gives the instrument an understated sense of elegance to its design.
This piano is a large, full-size “upright grand” with the strings length and soundboard area comparable to a full grand piano. The sound quality of these large pianos is truly impressive!
This piano will be completely restored, inside and out, with a historical perspective in mind. The piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system and can play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device. Thousands of song titles are available.
The original matching oak piano bench is included.
