Strohber was part of the prominent Smith & Barnes Piano Company of Chicago. The firm built high-quality pianos and player pianos from about 1906 until The Great Depression.
This lovely little “apartment size” piano was originally intended for small cottage and apartment homes of the period. Measuring just under 45” tall and 57” wide, these small instruments have a large, full tone quality despite their small size! The piano is made of imported Honduran Mahogany wood and is done in the Colonial style. The piano can be restored back to any shade of mahogany, walnut or even ebony black lacquer if desired.
This piano will be completely restored to like-new condition both inside and out. The piano will be equipped with the latest and most advanced QRS Pianomation player system which allows the piano to play by itself by streaming music through any smart device.
