Lovely Adam Schaaf Baby Grand Piano in the French Inspired Louis XV Style
This lovely baby grand piano was built by illustrious The Adam Schaaf Piano Company. The Adam Schaaf Piano Company built high-quality, expensive pianos in Chicago from 1873 until The Great Depression.
This piano is made of beautiful book-matched walnut wood and is of the carved Louis XV style. During the early 20thCentury, historic period styles became very popular in furniture and interior design. The French inspired Louis XV carved style was one of the more popular 20thCentury revival styles which remained popular for several decades. Note the elegantly carved legs, music rack and pedal lyre. These carved art-case pianos were more expensive than traditional models, and they were built in small numbers. The exotic wood grain on this instrument makes this piano especially beautiful!
This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out. Despite its smaller size, the instrument has a large, full tone quality sure to please the most discriminating musician.
