Strauss Piano Company
The Strauss Piano Company was established in 1908 as a subsidiary of The Pizzaro Piano Company of Mt. Juliet, Illinois. In 1913, the firm was reorganized as The Nussbaum Piano Company. The Nussbaum Piano Company continued to build Strauss pianos up until the Great Depression era. Both Pizzaro and Nussbaum were relatively small firms compared to most major manufacturers, and their pianos were known to be of very good quality.
