Steindell pianos were built under confidential contract by a large East Coast manufacturer (most likely Kohler & Campbell of New York). The Steindell Company sold pianos under the brand names of “Steindell Colonial Grand”, “Symphony Opera Grand”, “Monarch Cabinet Grand”, and “Monarch Royal Opera”. Because these instruments were built under confidential contract, we have been unable to locate any other information about this firm.
