Peters, Webb & Company

Peters, Webb & Company was a large publishing house in Louisville, Kentucky from about 1870-1877. Along with publishing, the firm also sold musical instruments, including a line of square grand and upright pianos under the Peters, Webb & Company name. These pianos, however, were actually built by Peters, Cragg & Company, a partnering firm. The firm built pianos on a relatively small scale for just a few years, and they are exceedingly rare today. The few extant instruments we have seen come through our shop by the firm have been of superior quality and craftsmanship.
