Metropolitan
The Metropolitan Piano Company was controlled by the famous Estey Piano & Organ Company during the late 19th and early 20th Century period. Estey was one of the largest instrument manufacturers and American history. Their Metropolitan line started out in their square grand pianos in the 19th Century, but after the turn-of-the-century it was composed of upright and player pianos. After the Great Depression, Estey continued the Metropolitan name on a line of spinet and console pianos up until the World War II era.
