DESCRIPTION

This is a very unique Sterling parlor grand piano from the first part of the 20th Century. Sterling built high quality, expensive pianos from 1866-1966 in Derby, CT, and they were one of the few American piano manufacturers to survive for 100 years. This piano is made of lavishly carved mahogany wood finished in a rich black lacquer finish...its ornately carved legs, music rack and trim make it uniquely handsome. Note the ornately carved music lyre in the pedal assembly. This piano is extremely well made, and has been restored to like new condition. It has tremendous tone and touch. A matching period stool is included. It has been equipped with computerized player mechanisms and plays compact discs via remote control.
