DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to another clients, and it also makes that piano's restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

This is one of the most stunning and elaborate upright pianos we have ever had come through our shop. It was built by the famous Mathushek Piano Company of New Haven, CT, in 1886, right at the height of the Victorian era. Mathushek was known for building exceptionally high quality, expensive pianos...he was one of the finest innovators of his time. This piano is made of exceptionally carved Brazilian Rosewood, and will be just stunning after restoration. Note the heavily carved legs, molding, grills, etc...You simply can't get craftsmanship like this today! This piano will rival the tone and touch of the finest new upright piano avaialble on today's market. An original matching stool is included. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
