DESCRIPTION

Can you imagine a piano being any more beautiful than this? This is a rare, highly carved Kranich & Bach parlor grand piano from 1926…a prime era for American piano manufacturing. Kranich & Bach built high quality, expensive pianos from about 1864-1981…one of the few American piano manufacturers to survive well over a century. This piano is made of gorgeous mahogany wood, and boasts beautifully carved legs and scalloping along the entire case. The cabinet can be refinished in either reddish or brownish mahogany. This piano is being restored to like new condition, and the tone is magnificent. Even prior to restoration, it plays and sounds awesome. This is truly a very special piano from a special time in America’s piano building history. A matching bench is included. This piano can be equipped with a computerized player mechanism if desired.
