This is a very rare, very desirable Knabe Louis XV style parlor grand piano from the 1920’s era, the height of piano production in America. Knabe was the official piano of the Metropolitan Opera for many years, and their pianos were famous for having rich, deep tones that were desirable for vocal accompaniment. This piano is made of beautiful walnut wood, and has unusually carved legs, lyre, and music rack. This era is known has being the prime era for Knabe, and these pre-depression Knabe grand pianos are some of the finest pianos ever made. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired. An original matching bench is included.
