DESCRIPTION

This beautiful piano was built by the prominent Bush & Gerts Piano Company of Chicago in 1903. Bush & Gerts built very expensive, high quality pianos from 1885 until 1942. This piano is one of the most elaborate upright piano models built by Bush & Gerts - it was considered the highest grade and would have been very expensive when new. Pianos like this would have cost the equivalent of a small house of the era!

This piano boasts beautifully carved inset panels and elaborate moldings around the case, all made in the finest book-matched burl walnut wood. This level of quality and craftsmanship is rarely encountered in instruments built today.

The piano has been fully restored with historical accuracy to factory-new condition.  The tone quality of this piano is tremendous, typical of the Bush & Gerts brand. If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. More than 10,000 song titles are available!

A matching piano stool is included.
