Instrument Description
Chauncey pianos were built for the C.C. Mellor Piano Company of Pittsburg, PA, and they built high quality pianos from 1900-1929, going out of business with the Great Depression. This baby grand piano measures only 4 feet 8 inches long, and would be ideal for someone with limited space. These pianos were commonly known as "Apartment Size" due to their petite size, making them perfect for someone with limited space. This piano has been restored to like new condition, and has been refinished in lovely white satin lacquer. This Chauncey baby grand piano has a warm tone and an even feel...not tinny sounding like most cheap new pianos. This piano comes with a matching padded bench. It can have the computerized player mechanisms added if desired.
