Kranich & Bach was one of the most innovative American builders in 19th Century piano building. Their instruments were known to be of very high quality which was reflected by their high price.

This is a lovely Kranich & Bach square grand piano from the early 1870's period. Many of Kranich & Bach's innovations and improvements are present in this instrument, giving a full, rich sound quality. This piano is made of Brazilian Rosewood and is of the Rococo Victorian style. Note the lovely carved legs and detail on the music rack. A matching stool is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
