Instrument Description
The Estey Company was at one time the largest builder of organs in America. By the later part of the 20th Century, Estey began building a line of very high quality upright and grand pianos which were known for their high quality and craftsmanship. This beautiful Estey upright piano is made of Honduras Mahogany wood and features beautifully hand carved panels, carved legs, and elegant moldings. A previous owner has stripped the original finish off the piano, which gives it the neutral light color. Originally, the piano was a deep red mahogany color, and it can be restored to any color of mahogany wood desired. These Estey upright pianos are known for their deep rich tone quality, and this piano shows all signs of being an exceptional piano after restoration. Computerized player mechanisms can be included if desired.
