This traditional Sohmer is made in the traditional style. The cabinet is made of beautiful Honduras Mahogany wood hidden under the old black deteriorated finish. These larger Sohmer grand pianos were a popular choice for music teachers, studios, and professional musicians during the early and middle 20th Century because of their superb design and tone quality. After restoration, this piano will rival any new grand piano at half the cost! An original matching bench is included. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
