Decker Brothers was one of the most advanced piano makers of the 19th Century. They received many innovative patents for piano building in the 19th Century, most of which are still being applied in modern piano manufacturing today.
This magnificent concert grand piano was built by Decker Brothers in the late 19th Century, shortly before the death of John Decker which resulted in the closing of the firm. It has beautifully carved legs and moldings, as well as an exquisitely carved music rack. This piano has been restored back to its original black lacquer finish. and has been equipped with the Pianomation computerized player mechanism. An authentic matching stool is included.
