Instrument Description

This is a beautiful square grand piano built by the Krakauer Brothers Piano Company of New York in 1877. Krakauer Brothers were known for building very well made, expensive pianos from about 1869-1980, one of the few American piano manufacturers to survive well over a century. This piano has beautifully scalloped edges around the cabinet, and boasts beautiful Rococo style cabriole legs and fretted music rack. This piano has been restored to like-new condition inside and out, and thrills anyone who has the opportunity to hear and play it. A matching piano stool is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
