Instrument Description
Krakauer Brothers built extremely high quality, expensive pianos in New York from about 1869-1980, one of the very few American piano manufacturers to survive well over a century. This Krakauer Brothers piano is a high grade player piano in the traditional style, typical of most player pianos from the 1920's era. This piano is made of beautifully grained brown mahogany, and has been rebuilt and refinished to like new condition. These large Krakauer player pianos have deep, resonate sound quality and they are very impressive both as a piano and as a player piano. It can be electrified if desired without interfering with the manual pumping capability. An original matching bench is included.
