Instrument Description
This is one of the most uniquely carved upright pianos we have ever seen. Built by the prestigious firm of Strich & Zeidler in 1903, it is just a stunning piano both ascetically and musically. Strich & Zeidler built exceptionally high quality, expensive pianos in New York from 1889-1925. This piano is a very large, full size "upright grand" piano, and would please the most discriminating musician. This piano is a bit unusual in that it has beautifully embossed copper panels depicting Greek scenes with amazing detail. Note the unusually large carved pillars and trusses which compliment the heavily carved panels and legs. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired. A historically correct stool is included.
