description

This piano is a beautiful example of the later Victorian style carved upright piano. Built in 1909, this piano is made of exquisitely carved red mahogany wood. This style is often referred to as “Country Victorian”, a look that is less formal than the highly carved Victorian styles of the previous decade. Schiller was a top of the line brand built by the famous Cable Piano Company of Chicago, and they built excellent pianos from about 1892-1957. This piano has a matching original stool, and can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
