Instrument Description

This is a beautiful example of a classic early American Victorian upright piano. It was made by the prestigious Ernest Gabler Piano Company, and was built about a decade after the Civil War. Gabler built exceptional, high priced pianos from about 1854-1931. It is made of heavily carved Rosewood in the Rococo Victorian style. Note the elegant cabriole legs and beautiful cut out grillwork on the front. This piano has been completely rebuilt & refinished, and can be fitted with the computerized player mechanisms if desired. An original matching stool is included.
