Instrument Description

The Conover Piano Company was one of the top brand names manufactured by the famous Cable Piano Company of Chicago, IL. Conover was a “top of the line”, high grade instrument, and they were very expensive when new. This Conover upright is a prime example of an elaborately carved high-grade model from the late 19th Century. It is made of beautiful burl walnut wood, with handsomely carved panels, legs and moldings. The tone of this instrument is substantial, and its overall power is very impressive. A matching stool is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
