description

This is a beautiful example of a Mission Style Upright Piano in stunning burl walnut. This piano was built by the Emerson Piano Company of Boston in 1915. Emerson has an outstanding reputation of building high quality pianos for nearly a century. Emerson was established in 1849 and built pianos until about 1940. This piano was used in a University music department since new until it was retired about 4 years ago. It has been completely restored and refinished, and looks and plays like the day it was built. This piano includes an original matching bench and can be fitted with a computerized player mechanism if desired.
