Instrument Description
This is a handsome Victorian upright piano from the Ellington Piano Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. Ellington was one of the top brand names built by the famous Baldwin Piano Company, and they built high quality, expensive pianos from about 1893-1930. This piano has elegant carvings on the front panel on beautifully turned legs and trusses, all done in stunning burl walnut. It is a full size upright piano with very long strings and broad soundboard area, giving a full, deep tone comparable to most small grand pianos. This piano is being restored to like new condition, and will be pristine in every way. A matching period stool is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be added if desired.
