Instrument Description

This beautiful square piano was built by the Haines Brothers Piano Company of New York. It is shown here in its original, unrestored condition, with the finish crazed and deteriorated from years of neglect. Underneath, it is made of beautiful Brazilian Rosewood, and will be stunning after restoration. This piano boasts a full 88-note keyboard which is unusual in instruments built prior to 1880. This piano has ornately carved legs and music stand, and is of the Rococo Victorian style. These pianos are rare antiques and their values are appreciating rapidly. An original matching piano stool is included. This piano can be equipped with a computerized CD player if desired.
