This stunning square grand piano was built in Dresden, Germany by E. Rosenkranz & Company. President Woodrow Wilson owned a similar Rosenkranz instrument which was a focal point among his furnishings while his term in the White House. This instrument is a very rare example of a true artisan's craft. Note the carved Gothic legs and gargoyles in the pedal lyre. This piano is made of blonde rosewood, and the detail of the woodwork is just stunning! Square pianos of this caliber are very rare today. This piano has been equipped with computerized player mechanisms, and plays wirelessly from compact disc. These player mechanisms do not change the manual playability of the piano in any way. An original matching stool is included.
