Universal
The Universal Piano Company (not to be confused with the Universal Player Piano Company of California in the 1980’s) was an active manufacturer of pianos during the 1910-1929 era. The firm was located at 190 Southern Boulevard in New York City. The Universal Piano Company specialized in player pianos, but also built a line of ordinary upright pianos as well. The few Universal player pianos we have seen come through our shop have been very well made, good sounding instruments.
