Stodart & Morris
The Stodart & Morris Piano Company was established in 1856 and their factory was at 501 Broadway, New York City. Morris was the nephew of the renowned piano builder Robert Morris. Stodart & Morris built a small number of high quality square grand pianos, and they were known to be of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The firm was out of business before 1870. Pianos by Stodart & Morris are of museum caliber and they are exceedingly rare today.
