Peters, Webb & Company was a large publishing house in Louisville, Kentucky from about 1870-1877. Along with publishing, the firm also sold musical instruments, including a line of square grand and upright pianos under the Peters, Webb & Company name. These pianos, however, were actually built by Peters, Cragg & Company, a partnering firm. The firm built pianos on a relatively small scale for just a few years, and they are exceedingly rare today. The few extant instruments we have seen come through our shop by the firm have been of superior quality, and deserve the finest restoration available today.
