Clark, George
George Clark was a very small-scale piano maker in Portland, Maine during the pre-Civil War era. Although very little is known about George Clark, it is listed that he shared a factory with Portland piano makers Andrews & Robinson at 101 Federal Street  It is possible Clark may have been a relative or business partner with Andrews & Robinson, but this is only speculation. Like most small-scale piano makers of this era, George Clark appears to have only built a limited number of square grand pianos and possibly melodeons.
